Auburn EyesYes we’ve roamed the wild country,
My beautiful auburn eyes,
How well I remember when we hunted,
With shadows dancing on northern skies.

We had times of plenty,
Were we were content and serene,
Soundly sleeping side by side
Perils few and far between.

I remember sharply the times
When we ran hungry,
Our starving pups had died,
How mournfully we both cried.

And then there was our first fall,
Treading through golden halls,
The trees giving way,
To our never ending play.

This will be my first upload since winter! I am glad to say spring may have finally arrived. Testing out my new Nikon 35mm F1.8 lens, and yes, I love it!

F1.8?! Nice!!! That'll be really handy when it comes to some of your forest shots.
Possibly even indoor arena's, if you are able to get the shutter speed high enough. :)

Interesting perspective on this one, and the little bits near the bottom left look like sparkles.
